This fabulous 2 1/2” wide hinged art Nouveau bracelet is just so eerie with the snakes that wrap around Medusa and the intricate raised relief metal work accents! Vintage Czech EGYPTIAN revival MOTH Dragonfly Bookpiece NECKLACE 

 
I have to say that when you wear ( much less OWN) a piece like this you never can go back. This is one of the largest glass drop pieces I have ever seen with the most amazing givre glass and prism drop stones. Click on each photo to enlarge it so you can see the wonderful detail on this. This is from the czech republic which produced some of the finest jewelry in Czechoslovakia for the two largest firms, Brditschka and Altmann.
This is an Eastern European treasure from the Art Nouveau period. Branching out from the hook closure are many swags of cobalt and amethyst glass beads that hang from rich gilt brass hangers. The center has a smaller brass piece depicting an Art Nouveau dragonfly that attaches to the swags of deep blue beads. Emanating from the bottom of the discs are more swags of glass beads with another faceted amethyst glass drop.
At the center of the necklace is a brass pendant of an Art Nouveau MOTH which is well over 4" wide. Just the length of this massive bib is something to behold. It measures a WHOPPING 9" Long from the top of the dragonfly to the fabulous amethyst center drop ( almost 2" long) . The necklace is 21" around the neck ( not counting this glorious BIB) These glass drops are rich in cobalt, amethyst and brilliant blues. The work on this is so artistic and so tedious that I can't even imagine how long it would take to solder this master piece, much less create it. This was shown at a recent large jewelery show was the hit of the whole show. These are something that you pass on as a heirloom because they are so EXTRAORDINARY.

EXOTIC Egyptian revival dragons egg venetian glass bracelet

This deco hinged bracelet is one of the most unusual pieces because it has some sort of turquoise and copper enameling in the center with a rich red dragons or easter egg venetian cabachon. The sides have beautiful raised relief ornamental work that go all the way around the back.  When the light hits the front center panel it looks like a raven when the light hits its wings and turns purple blue and copper. This measures 1 1/2” at its widest and 7” long on the inside. OLD Czech DRIPPING DECO LAYER Egyptian Glass NEcklace
 

This is for a genuine Czech three strand glass and brass necklace with a large Egyptian deco pendant with glass tassels. This is NOT a reproduction nor is this a piece that is made from old parts. It is original. The strands range in lengths from 18" to 26". The drop is an additional 3 ½" . The brass pendant is thick and two sided not a molded piece of brass with no back. Both sides are the same with intricate detail. The golden topaz glass Czech beads are all faceted. The brass spacers have wonderful old patina on them. The thick slide in clasp has these gorgeous molded glass beads. This is in wonderful condition with lots of patina and very little cleaning that needs to be done. This is for one of the most bizarre bracelets I have ever had. This has 5 adornments that rise up out of it on all sides and it looks like it came right out of King Arthur. Egyptian Revival Etrusacan Demi Parure



Ancient stone ( turquoise? ) and Etruscan hand worked Egyptian revival choker and bracelet. The large metal beads are loaded with silver wire work and accented with turquoise stones. The large stones are white and turquoise in color. They are real but I am just not sure of their name. The largest metal bead is over 1” wide. The length of the necklace is 16”
and the length of the bracelet is 8 ¼”. They have good weight to them and other than s few of the tiny turquoise beads missing it is in very good shape . Has not been cleaned and has wonderful old patina on them .

1920 ART DECO EXQUISITE SIGNED FILIGREE watchband

This is one of the most feminine art deco filigree watch bands I have ever seen. Not only is it extremely well made but it is signed Lorna on the back ( with pat pending next to the name).
The filigree is just gorgeous and even the sides are filigree. This is hinged all the way around and it graduates from ¼" to 1/3" at the ends so it will gracefully accept a watch.
This would be so beautiful on an art deco enamel or diamond watch! This measures 5 ¼" long and it stretches like speidels do so you don’t have to latch it once you have the watch on.
What is great about this is that the way you put the watch on requires NO TECHNICAL skills or a jeweler. The ends have a push in part on the inside like a bale for a pendant is and you just slip your watch bar on the side of your watch in. In great shape this is well worth buying because it is a true period piece.

Rare Victorian Vinaigrette Scent PErfume locket BROOCH

This Victorian piece is something you don’t see often, with the vinaigrette built in as a locket to this brooch ( also doubles a a pendant) . This would have been used to carry smelling salts or perfume oils dabbed on cotton inside this little container. The scent would come out of the holes in the back. The brooch is arched so it would not touch your clothing. This has a Czech glass flower in the center, which you when you hold it to the light you can see the beautiful coloring. The brooch is quite large ( 2 ½") and has a hook for a chain or it can just be used as a brooch. This is some type of gun or pot metal and is has wonderful old patina on top. You can see the bottom looks as if it has never seen the sun or air because it is as close to its original condition as can be. 1920’s ART DECO Camphor GLASS fancy setting RING

This signed 1920;s camphor glass ring has a tiny diamond center and quite and ornate setting. The rasied pierced metal sides are of fancy geometric designs right from the nouveau period. The setting is 3/4” long and a little over 1/2” wide. The band is marked with an arrow and a U for UNCAS MANUFACTURING CO. --1911 and up. This one is a size 7. Fancy ART deco 800 SILVER Aquamarine Parure Necklace bracelet Earrings

This set was purchased in Manila in the 30’s and is completely hand wrought in 800 silver and some beautifully faceted aquamarines ( see close-up). The set is complete with a necklace, bracelet and screw on earrings. You can see it is quite detailed and really fancy with all the scroll work. The necklace is 18” long with the drop being an additional 1 1/2”. Vintage CZECH PANSY reverse painted PINK coral  NECKLACE

Sometimes these pieces are referred to as goofus glass, but I think most people can relate to reverse painted. WHat is most unusual about this is the fact it looks like butterfly wing in the background. Not sure but when you hold it to the light you can see that beautiful luminescence that the wings give off. The photos don't do this pendant justice because not only is is reverse painted and carved under glass, but the pansy looks like it is rising up from this eerie background and that just brings these violet colors stand out and make you say AHHHH!!. The coral color glass beads are made to look like tiny shells and they have the soft pink which graduates to a darker shade. This is not a small necklace by far and with the double swag strands it really is quite beautiful. The gilt brass spacers really add character to this pretty piece. The necklace is 20" long on the shortest strand and then there is the additional 2" pasted and gilt brass pendant. This has a filigree box clasp at the top. The back of the pendant has lost its gold color but that does not show when worn. The front has darkened as most antique brass does. I believe the paste rhinestones are all original too. This is probably an edwardian / Nouveau piece since it has the swag front. Look great on and is one of the more unusual pieces from this period that I have sold.

Fabulous CZECH Lapis deco BOOKCHAIN DROP necklace

Just look at all the detailed metal filigree work on this beautiful OLD necklace. It dates prior to the 20’s and has a wide bookchain necklace. The center piece is filled with lapis color glass stones ( sometimes called Montana blue) and from the pendant are two filigree drops with pearl accents. Fancy Enamel ART DECO Vintage Watch & etched band

This period of time was when jewelry was at its best and the attention to the smallest detail showed the time invested in each piece made. This ladies watch is so very feminine with delicate looking etched links ( see close-up) and the detailed metal bead work and enamel on the watch itself. The band is made so it can change in size up to 7”. The back of the clasp on the watch band reads “Pontiac made in USA”. When I wind the watch it ticks but it does not stay ticking for long. AQUAMARINE Glass Crocheted Flapper necklace



This is such an intricate piece that is 1/3” wide and made in a lace pattern all around the neck. When it reaches the center it interlocks and then has these 2 ½” long tassels that hang from it. It is 15" long around the neck with an additional 2 1/2" drop. This is in excellent condition
